The Mentors Program is a year long educational program that covers many aspects of the BDSM lifestyle as well as a journey to discovering you and your place in it. There are a total of four Mentors Programs in the Austin and Dallas areas. One is for those who walk the path of a Dominant and the other is for those who walk the path of a submissive or slave. Switches can choose either program so long as they operate from that mindset for the time they are in the program sessions and completing the online course work.
All Programs Include:
Attending monthly Saturday meetings (see dates on each program's tab) where you'll learn from experienced folx in the community.
Dungeon Monitor training that includes the American Heart Association's BLS Training where CPR/AED are covered.
Online work in a learning management system that is to be completed before the next month's session.
A $40.00 non-refundable registration fee due at orientation to help with the yearly costs of the program.
All participants must have their Covid vaccination and at least one booster. Don't register if you don't have this.
Volunteering: 4 hours as a DM and 2 hours of community service.
This program isn't for everyone. Our focus is for people who are new or relatively new to the lifestyle. Our hope is to help give them a firm foundation as they learn and grow. Our goal is to help you develop a deeper understanding of self and community as well as skills and topics unique to BDSM. If you've been a part of the community for some time now and still want to take the program, let's talk and see if it's right for you.
This year long program is a serious chunk of time and energy. The classes do not lend themselves well to make-up session as they include group work and analytical discussions. Look at the dates and make the time for it to be a priority in your life. If you can't, consider joining another year. You can click on the tabs for each specific program's dates.
*Note: Those who join this program in any way, as apprentice, mentor, or admin, can not be told or ordered to do so by another human being. This is a personal choice. We do NOT consent to this program being a part of anyone's required dynamic.
